Long before the barbaric, mysogynistic terrorist group of today used the familiarity of Her name as their acronym, the great Egyptian Goddess, Isis, was worshipped for over 3,500 years. Known as “The Goddess of 10,000 Names”, Isis is the goddess of FERTILITY, MAGIC and RESURRECTION. Also known as “The Giver of Life” and “Goddess of Magic”, “She was worshiped as a patron of both motherhood and marriage, as well as mysticism and magical practice” according to Wikipedia and there are still temples dedicated to Her including one in POMPEII (See picture, courtesy of Wikipedia.) She was considered the “Queen of Heaven” long before the Virgin Mary, and many say there are many similarities between the two and/or that Mary was the reincarnation of Isis. Cleopatra was an Isis Devotee.
Isis’ name means “throne” and it was thought “no king could take his place on the throne unless he had a close relationship with the Goddess. To rule, the king must sit in the lap of the Goddess as Her child.” https://isiopolis.com/2013/12/14/what-is-isis-connection-with-the-throne/ “The lap of the Goddess Isis was regarded as the royal throne, while her breast poured forth the nectar that conferred the divine right to rule.” This is why we see many sculptures of Isis breastfeeding tiny pharaohs in Her lap as they were considered descendants of Her son, Horus.
It is said that ISIS CAME FROM SIRIUS and lived among the people (from the richest to the poorest) teaching them sacred rites and rituals and well as daily necessary tasks like growing crops.
